Best of the season honored with 2026 All-EIVA Team

The top three teams in the EIVA in 2026 led the way as the conference named its All-EIVA Team on April 21, 2026.
No. 1 Penn State, No. 2 NJIT and No. 3 George Mason each put three players on the 10-member All-EIVA First Team and the Nittany Lions added three more to the Second Team in a vote of conference coaches.
The first-team group is led by the EIVA’s Uvaldo Acosta Memorial Player of the Year, Nittany Lion outside hitter Sean Harvey, who was named All-EIVA for the first time in his career. The most experienced members of the group also were Nittany Lions – middle blocker Owen Rose and libero Ryan Merk – each of whom earned All-EIVA honors for a fourth time.
NJIT is represented by setter Bruno Figueiredo, opposite Wiktor Nowak and middle blocker Daniel Latkowski, along with Second-Team selection Andre Aleixo, who was named the Tom Tait Memorial Freshman of the Year.
George Mason was led by setter Georgi Zahariev, middle blocker Alexander Lillie and opposite Aidan Weltin.
Princeton outside hitter Owen Mellon rounded out the First Team.
The EIVA also honored its 2026 EIVA All-Academic Team, with 70 student-athletes posting grade point averages of 3.3 or better during their collegiate careers.
The EIVA Championship Tournament begins April 22, with the finals April 25 and all matches set for Penn State’s Rec Hall.
