Harvard's Zimmick Named AVCA Honorable Mention All-America

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Caleb Zimmick of the Harvard men's volleyball team has been named honorable mention All-America by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the organization announced on Monday.

The middle blocker earns the recognition for the second consecutive season, on the heels of his selection to the All-EIVA first team for the second-straight year.

One of the top block artists in Harvard's history, Zimmick moved into second place on Harvard's all-time blocks (362) and block assists (312) lists, and fourth place in solo blocks (50). He also ranks ninth in program history with 594 kills. This season, Zimmick led the EIVA with 1.17 blocks per set, ranking 13th in the country, to go with 1.81 kills per set and a .359 hitting percentage. Zimmick was named the EIVA Defensive Player of the Week four times this year.
