Princeton's Nyherowo Omene is the EIVA Offensive Player of the Week for March 24, 2025. Nyherowo delivered yet another prolific performance in the Tigers’ final non-conference match of the season. The senior pin hitter knocked down 18 kills while hitting .556 and added five aces, four digs and a block during a 3-1 win against Daemen on March 22. Omene has posted double digits in kills in his last 10 matches and in 13 of his 15 matches this season. It also marked his fifth contest hitting at least .500 and his ninth with at least 15 kills, including his last three outings. Omene leads the EIVA in points per set (5.08) and kills per set (4.22), ranks second in aces per set (0.42) and third in hitting (.356). Nationally, he ranks eighth in kills per set and fifth in points per set. This is Omene’s third EIVA weekly award of 2025 and fourth of his career.
