Penn State's Will Kuhns is the EIVA's first Offensive Player of the Week for the 2025 season, earning the honor on Jan. 13, 2025. Will was tough to stop in the No. 8 Nittany Lions’ season-opening road losses at No. 12 Loyola-Chicago and No. 14 Lewis. The graduate outside hitter totaled 25 kills with four errors to hit .488, adding an ace, three assists, eight digs, four blocks and was 54 of 57 in service receptions in the fifth and sixth starts of his career. In Penn State’s 3-1 opening loss against the Ramblers on Jan. 10, Kuhns had a dozen kills on .476 hitting with an ace, two assists, five digs and three blocks. He opened the match a perfect 8 for 8 on his swings. The next night against the Flyers, Kuhns posted a career-high 13 kills on .500 hitting with an assist, a block and three digs. This is the first EIVA weekly honor of Kuhns’ career.
