Princeton's Ben Harrington is the EIVA Offensive Player of the Week for March 18, 2024. Ben added two more prolific hitting performances to his resume during the No. 15 Tigers’ final week of non-conferences action this season. The senior pin hitter posted 23 kills on .436 hitting with an assist, seven digs and a pair of blocks in a 3-1 loss at No. 11 Loyola (Chicago) on March 11. He added a career-high 25 kills on .409 hitting with seven digs and three blocks, including a solo stuff, during a 3-2 victory at Fairleigh Dickinson on March 15. His total for the week saw 48 kills with .422 hitting, one assist, 14 digs and five blocks. Harrington has reached double digits in kills eight of his last nine matches and 12 times this season. He has three 20-plus-kill outings in 2024 and seven for his career. His 0.67 aces-per-set average leads the nation, he leads the EIVA and is fifth nationally in points per set (4.75) and is second in the EIVA and 13th in the nation in kills per set (3.75). This is Harrington’s third EIVA weekly award this season and seventh of his career.
