Owen put up a wall for the Nittany Lions in a pair of 3-0 weekend wins. The sophomore middle blocker had three kills and a career-high nine blocks against Daemen on Jan. 13, and the following night had three kills and three blocks against Merrimack. In the first four matches of his collegiate career, Rose has 21 kills on .486 hitting and a team-leading 26 blocks. He also was named Off the Block’s Middle Hitter of the Week after the first week of the season. This is the first weekly EIVA award for Rose.
