George Madson's Liam French  is the EIVA's Offensive Player of the Week for March 13, 2023. Liam delivered a pair of solid performances to help George Mason to a pair of wins against Limestone and extending the Patriots’ win streak to five. The redshirt freshman outside hitter put down 14 kills on .423 hitting with six digs in a 3-0 sweep on March 10. The next night he posted a career-high 21 kills while hitting .333, adding four digs, an ace and a solo block. Over seven sets he totaled 35 kills on .368 hitting, averaging 5.0 kills per set, adding 10 digs, an ace and a solo block while tallying a perfect 35 for 35 in service receptions. His 3.05 kills per set ranks fourth in the EIVA, while his 3.65 points per set ranks fifth in the conference. French earns his first career weekly EIVA honor.
