    Florence, Italy - The USA National Men’s Volleyball Team defeated Brazil, the number one ranked team in the world, 3-1 win (31-29, 21-25, 25-20, 25-23) to win the 2014 FIVB World League Sunday night.

    CHICAGO – The 2014 Penn State men’s volleyball season came to a close in the NCAA national semifinals, as the fifth-seeded Nittany Lions (25-7) came up just short in a close 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-18, 11-15) loss to No. 1 overall seed Loyola Chicago (28-1) Thursday evening at Gentile Arena.

    PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Cody Kessel capped one of the most successful seasons in the history of Princeton men’s volleyball by earning his first AVCA All-America honor. The three-year starting opposite earned AVCA Division I-II Honorable Mention, making him only the third Princeton men’s volleyball player to earn All-America honors.

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – No. 12 Penn State men’s volleyball (24-6) has earned the No. 5 seed heading into NCAA post season play, as announced by the organization this morning. The Nittany Lions pushed past Princeton in straight sets to capture their 16th consecutive EIVA crown Saturday, April 26 to earn an automatic berth to NCAA post season play.

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Top-seeded No. 12 Penn State men’s volleyball (24-6) defeated No. 3 seed Princeton (16-10) in straight sets (25-23, 25-19, 25-18) to capture its 26th overall and 16th consecutive EIVA Championship crown Saturday evening at Rec Hall. With the victory, the Nittany Lions have punched their ticket to NCAA post season play, hosted by Loyola Chicago.

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The second-seeded Harvard men’s volleyball team had its championship run cut short Thursday night, as third-seeded Princeton upset the Crimson, 3-1, in the EIVA semifinal match hosted by Penn State at Rec Hall. The Tigers took the match by set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 22-25 and 25-21.

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Junior Aaron Russell and redshirt junior Nick Goodell have both earned AVCA All-America honors, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) this afternoon. Russell has been selected as a first team AVCA All-American, while Goodell has earned honorable mention honors.
