    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Sept. 18, 2010 – Former Penn State men’s volleyball players Matt Anderson and Max Holt were both named to the 14-man roster that will compete at the FIVB Men’s World Volleyball Championships Sept. 25-Oct. 10 in Italy.

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., June 8, 2010 – Former Nittany Lion men’s volleyball players Matt Anderson and Max Holt are both members of the U.S. Men’s National Volleyball Team competing in the 2010 FIVB World League. Despite suffering two early setbacks to Russia, the pair is back in action with the U.S. Men on June 11 in the first of two matches against Finland.

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., April 27, 2010 – Penn State and Rec Hall is set to host the 2010 Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) Men’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday, April 29 and Saturday, May 1. The top-seeded Nittany Lions (21-7) are set to take on fourth-seeded Springfield, who defeated Saint Francis in the EIVA Quarterfinals on April 24, at 8 p.m. on April 29. No. 2 seed Princeton will face No. 3 seed George Mason at 5:30 p.m. in Rec Hall in the first semifinal match. The winner of the two matches will meet on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall.

    FAIRFAX, Va. (April 24, 2010) – Third-seeded George Mason advanced to the EIVA Semifinals with a 3-0 sweep of the sixth-seeded Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders in the quarterfinals of the EIVA Championship Tournament on Saturday evening at the RAC. The Patriots will make their 10th consecutive appearance in the semifinals of the conference tournament next Thursday at Penn State.

    Kenosha, Wisc. - April 17, 2010 - Behind a career-performance from tournament MVP Alberto Bravo, the Springfield College men's volleyball team claimed their sixth national championship on Saturday night after defeating UC Santa Cruz in four games in the 2010 Molten Division III Men's Invitational Volleyball Championship. After dropping the first set, 30-23, Springfield won the final three sets 32-30, 30-26, 30-22.
