EIVA Tait Division Player of the Week

Matt Werle Juniata 6'4" Sophomore Setter Meadville, PA

Werle's setting directed Juniata to the championship of the Golden Dome Classic with wins over NJIT and Rutgers-Newark. He posted 40 or more assists in all three of Juniata's matches for the week. In a match against St. Francis, Werle had 40 assists and the team hit .280. In wins over NJIT and Rutgers-Newark, Werle dished 44 and 42 sets respectively while the team hit .286 and .376. For his efforts, Werle was named the Star Ledger/NJ.com MVP of the Golden Dome Classic tournament.
